High order residual-based scheme on unstructured grids
A new version of the residual-based scheme has been developping for computing compressible ow on unstructured grids. The third-order and forth-order of this scheme will be tested by the pure advection case and several cases governing by the Euler equations. Then this new version is compared with the classical upwind schemes such as Roe scheme.
متن کاملHigh-order/Spectral Methods on Unstructured Grids I. Time-domain Solution of Maxwell’s Equations
We present an ab initio development of a convergent high-order accurate scheme for the solution of linear conservation laws in geometrically complex domains. As our main example we present a detailed development and analysis of a scheme suitable for the time-domain solution of Maxwell's equations in a three-dimensional domain. The fully unstructured spatial discretization is made possible by th...
متن کاملA Parameter-Free Limiter for High-Order Methods on Unstructured Grids
A parameter-free limiting technique is developed for high-order unstructured-grid methods to capture discontinuities when solving hyperbolic conservation laws. The technique is based on a “troubled-cell” approach, in which cells requiring limiting are first marked, and then a limiter is applied to these marked cells. A parameter-free accuracypreserving TVD marker based on the cell-averaged solu...
متن کاملImplicit Time Integration Algorithms For High-Order Methods On Unstructured Tetrahedral Grids With p−Multigrid Strategy
Computational fluid dynamics has undergone tremendous development as a discipline for three decades. This has been made possible by progresses in many fronts, including numerical algorithms, grid generation and adaptation, as well as the dramatic increase in computer CPU speeds. Moreover, in recent years there is a growing interest in multidisciplinary CFD applications such as aeroacoustics, tu...
متن کاملA high-order spectral difference method for unstructured dynamic grids
A high-order spectral difference (SD) method has been further extended to solve the three dimensional compressible Navier–Stokes (N–S) equations on deformable dynamic meshes. In the SD method, the solution is approximated with piece-wise continuous polynomials. The elements are coupled with common Riemann fluxes at element interfaces. The extension to deformable elements necessitates a time-dep...
